Example 2 — favourite's odds (Team B to win):
Decimal 1.25 = Fractional 1/4 = American -400 (American minus means you need to stake ৳400 to win ৳100). A ৳200 stake returns ৳250 — profit of just ৳50.
Remember: the higher the odds, the higher the risk and the higher the potential return. Low odds mean a favourite — the chance of winning is considered higher, but the profit is smaller.
